Police Mentality & What To Do About It | Michael A. Wood Jr. Interview

Michael Wood

This very good looking ex-cop is my new hero. Michael Wood is a former Baltimore cop and US Marine that fits the bill on what a true cop should be...(and not just because he's blond, built, and wears a crew-cut)he is trying to change the way cops behave by bringing citizens in to help with policy at a local level.

He sees the corruption from money in politics as a particular problem and wants Mayors to release the power they have and let citizens take charge of their own neighborhoods.

I, for one, agree it is only when the people living in the communities get involved and start holding cops accountable for their actions, good or bad, will we start to see real justice by:

  1. Crime dropping in our streets.
  2. No more draconian sentences being carried out in our courtrooms.
  3. Finding citizens calling the police to report crimes instead of fearing the police who are supposed to protect them.

People are tired of a two-tiered justice system and thankfully there are cops like Officer Wood that agree and are ready to lead the way to help find solutions, so Americas citizens and streets will be safer and communities can heal from years of the racial divide.
